TFP Bureau, Raipur, May 14, 2025: In a significant breakthrough in the country’s fight against Naxalism, security forces have successfully completed a major anti-Naxal operation on the Chhattisgarh-Telangana border, eliminating 31 hardcore Naxalites. Both Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah and Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai have termed the success a decisive blow to left-wing extremism.
Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah hailed the operation as a “historic victory for India’s internal security,” asserting that the government is firmly committed to making the country completely Naxal-free by 31 March 2026. He praised the courage, discipline, and strategic coordination of the CRPF, STF, and DRG jawans who executed the mission in just 21 days—without any casualties among the security personnel.
“This area was once a stronghold of Naxal training, arms manufacturing, and planning. Today, the tricolour flies proudly on those very hills. It is a symbol of India’s sovereignty and a psychological blow to the Naxal ideology,” said Shri Shah in his official statement. He added that the operation would serve as a model for future missions and marked not only a military success but a decisive ideological and moral victory.
CM Salutes Security Forces’ Bravery
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai congratulated the security forces and said this victory marks a historic milestone in Chhattisgarh’s journey towards peace. “Our brave CRPF, STF, and DRG jawans fought in extreme conditions with unmatched courage and perseverance. I salute their dedication,” he said.
He further stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, the goal of a Naxal-free India is within reach. “The dream of a peaceful, prosperous Bastar is no longer distant. The light of development will soon shine in every village once gripped by fear,” said the Chief Minister.
Zero Casualties, Maximum Impact
The Union Home Minister emphasized the unparalleled success of the mission, highlighting that no security personnel were martyred. “It is a testament to our improved strategy, intelligence, and coordination. The mission’s success has broken the backbone of Naxalism in the region,” he said.
The operation, conducted in one of the most inaccessible and strategically critical zones, is being seen as one of the largest and most effective anti-Naxal campaigns in India’s recent history.
Shri Shah reiterated that the eradication of Naxalism is no longer just a policy—“it is now a national resolve.” He lauded the seamless coordination between the Centre and State, saying the collaborative efforts have set a new benchmark in counter-insurgency operations.
The resounding success has been hailed across the security establishment as a defining moment in India’s decades-long battle against Naxal extremism.
