TFP Bureau, Raipur, May 2025: Chief Election Commissioner Shri Gyanesh Kumar, along with Election Commissioners Dr. Sukhbir Singh Sandhu and Dr. Vivek Joshi, today held a significant meeting with a delegation of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) led by National Convenor Shri Arvind Kejriwal at Nirvachan Sadan.
This meeting is part of an ongoing series of consultations with presidents and leaders of national and state political parties, designed to foster constructive dialogue and allow party heads to directly share their suggestions and concerns with the Election Commission.
The initiative reflects the Commission’s commitment to enhancing the electoral process within the legal framework by collaborating closely with all stakeholders.
Earlier sessions in this series included meetings with BSP President Kumari Mayawati (6 May), BJP President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda (8 May), CPI(M) General Secretary Shri M.A. Baby (10 May), and National People’s Party President Shri Conrad Sangma (13 May).
So far, a total of 4,719 all-party meetings have been convened across the country, including 40 by Chief Electoral Officers, 800 by District Election Officers, and 3,879 by Electoral Registration Officers, engaging over 28,000 political party representatives to date.
