TFP Bureau, Raipur, May16, 2025: Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai visited the Sitagaon Samadhan Camp held in Manpur block of Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki district on Thursday, where he announced several key development projects, including the establishment of a 132 KV substation in Ambagarh Chowki, the upgradation of Sitagaon’s Sub Health Center into a Primary Health Center, and the elevation of Sitapur High School to Higher Secondary status.
The visit was part of the third phase of Sushasan Tihar 2025, the state government’s ongoing public outreach program aimed at ensuring effective governance and last-mile delivery of services. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma and Chief Secretary to the CM Shri Subodh Singh accompanied the Chief Minister.
Eight gram panchayats—Sitagaon, Madanwada, Karekatta, Halanjur, Hureli, Kandadi, Kohka, and Halora—were included in the day’s camp. The Chief Minister directly interacted with beneficiaries from these villages to assess the implementation of welfare schemes and listen to their concerns.
“Our government is committed to transparency and public participation. In just 18 months, we have approved 18 lakh houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, including 15,000 houses specifically for Naxal-affected areas,” said CM Sai. He added that the government has streamlined land registration, ensured paddy procurement at Rs 3,100 per quintal, and expanded digital services to 1,460 gram panchayats through Atal Digital Seva Kendras.
Shri Sai also highlighted the state’s efforts toward eradicating Naxalism, reaffirming the target to eliminate it by March 2026. “We are not just ensuring development but also preserving our cultural roots,” he noted, referring to the newly established Tribal Museum in Naya Raipur.
Several beneficiary-oriented distributions took place during the camp: nets from the Fisheries Department, ration cards from the Food Department, housing keys under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, and benefits under the Swachh Bharat Mission. Women sanitation workers, or Swachhata Didis, were also honored, and meritorious students of the region were felicitated.
Deputy CM Vijay Sharma reiterated the government’s commitment to grassroots problem-solving. “We collected applications a month ago and are now ensuring on-the-spot resolutions. Our reforms in land registry and inheritance processes have ended the hassle of paperwork. Transfers now happen automatically post-registration,” he said.
The camp saw enthusiastic participation from villagers, public representatives, and senior officials, marking another step forward in the government’s mission to bring governance closer to the people.
