TFP Bureau, Raipur, May 24, 2025: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai will represent the state at the crucial NITI Aayog Governing Council meeting being held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Ahead of his departure, the Chief Minister addressed the media, detailing the state’s strategic roadmap for inclusive and sustainable development.
Speaking to reporters, CM Sai emphasized that he would present Chhattisgarh’s long-term development vision aligned with the national goal of building a “Viksit Bharat” (Developed India). “Our commitment is to build a ‘Viksit Chhattisgarh’ that contributes meaningfully to the larger national progress,” he stated.
Highlighting key focus areas, the Chief Minister pointed to the state’s ongoing efforts to eradicate Naxalism, particularly in Bastar and other backward regions, through a dual approach of enhanced security and accelerated development. He noted a marked decline in extremist activities due to this strategy.
CM Sai also revealed that he will showcase the state’s new industrial policy, designed to attract investments and boost economic opportunities. “Chhattisgarh is poised to emerge as a key driver in India’s industrial growth story under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” he added.
The NITI Aayog meeting is expected to discuss state-wise strategies for achieving national development goals, with special emphasis on infrastructure, industrialization, and social equity.
