CM Shri Sai Pays Tribute to Mahatma Gandhi and Former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri on Their Birth Anniversaries
TFP Bureau, Raipur, October 2, 2026: Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai paid homage to the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, and former Prime Minister Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri on their birth anniversaries at Chhattisgarh Sadan in New Delhi today. He offered floral tributes to their portraits and recalled their enduring contributions and ideals.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that Mahatma Gandhi, through his commitment to truth, non-violence and humanity, gave the world a message of peace and harmony. His philosophy reflected a deep concern for the welfare of the last person in society and the vision of a self-reliant India. His life continues to inspire people to remain steadfast on the path of truth and fulfil their responsibilities towards society and the nation.
Remembering former Prime Minister Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri, the Chief Minister said his simple way of life, firm leadership and dedication to the nation remain an inspiration for every Indian. His call of ‘Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan’ highlighted the invaluable contribution of India’s soldiers and farmers to the country’s security and prosperity.
