TFP Bureau, Raipur, June 8, 2025: The two-day Chintan Shivir 2.0, led by Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai along with his cabinet members, commenced today at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Raipur. Organized by the Good Governance and Convergence Department of the Chhattisgarh government in collaboration with IIM Raipur, the event serves as a dynamic platform to deepen understanding of governance, leadership, and policy formulation.

The inaugural session covered critical themes including ‘Transformational Leadership and Visionary Governance’, ‘Culture, Good Governance and Nation Building’, and ‘From Efficiency to Sustainability: Rethinking Public Finance for Development.’ Eminent experts and thought leaders such as Prof. Himanshu Rai (Director, IIM Indore), Dr. Vinay Sahasrabuddhe (former President, Indian Council of Cultural Relations), Shri Sanjeev Sanyal (Prime Minister’s Economic Advisory Council member), and others contributed valuable insights throughout the sessions.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai described Chintan Shivir 2.0 as an enriching platform that injects fresh energy and perspective into governance. He emphasized that such training camps enable ministers to grasp the nuances of good governance and transformational leadership, enhancing the state’s policy-making process.

In his lecture, Prof. Himanshu Rai underscored the importance of selfless and ethical administration, drawing lessons from the Bhagavad Gita, advocating that work should be done because it is right, rather than merely for results. Dr. Vinay Sahasrabuddhe highlighted the integral role of cultural consciousness and moral values in nation-building, stressing that good governance prioritizes the welfare of the most marginalized sections of society, reflecting the principle of Antyodaya.

The event was attended by all state ministers, alongside key officials including Secretary to the Chief Minister Rahul Bhagat, Special Secretary Rajat Bansal, and IIM Raipur Director Ram Kakani. The sessions will continue tomorrow, focusing on further discussions around governance and public finance, with the participation of several other renowned experts.
