TFP Bureau, Raipur, June 112 2025: In a significant move to enhance transparency and ease in administration, the Chhattisgarh government, led by Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, has launched a new digital initiative allowing government employees to access and update their service records via a mobile app. This progressive step under the “Digital Administration – Transparent Solution” policy aims to simplify service-related processes and eliminate delays related to retirement, promotions, and salary discrepancies.
With over four lakh state government employees benefitting, the new system replaces the cumbersome manual file handling of Confidential Reports (CR) and service records. Employees’ profiles, often called ‘Kundli’, will now be updated and maintained through the Employee Corner mobile app and the Karmik Sampada portal, enabling easy access and real-time updates of service information. This digital transition is set to reduce administrative bottlenecks and enhance accuracy in employee data management.
Director of Treasury and Accounts, Mr. Ritesh Agarwal, highlighted that many employees traditionally faced difficulties during retirement due to outdated or incomplete records, as updating information depended on office heads and was often delayed. The new app empowers employees to log in and update personal details, nominee information, bank accounts, and other service particulars themselves, thereby eliminating dependence on intermediaries and reducing unnecessary delays.
This system also ensures transparency and efficiency in transfer procedures, pay fixation, promotions, and other administrative processes. It will facilitate quick resolution of post-retirement benefits such as pension, General Provident Fund (GPF), allowances, and leave encashment claims by maintaining up-to-date service data.
Key Benefits of the Karmik Sampada App
- Employees can directly update their profiles and service information.
- Competent authorities can promptly address service-related applications and salary issues.
- The app streamlines the process of profile updates, making it user-friendly.
- Online submission of final GPF claims post-retirement is enabled, speeding up claim settlement.
- A dedicated module allows online correction of missing GPF credits during service, accessible to both employees and office heads.
Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai’s vision of making government processes more citizen- and employee-centric is reflected in this initiative, positioning Chhattisgarh as a pioneer in e-governance. This digital platform ensures service security for employees, transparency in administration, and faster grievance redressal, marking a major stride in the state’s governance reforms.
