TFP Bureau, Raipur, June 16, 2025: In response to the ongoing intense heat conditions across Chhattisgarh, the State Government has issued a directive for government, grant-in-aid, non-grant aided, and private schools to conduct classes during early morning hours from June 17 to June 21, 2025. The revised school hours will be from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM to safeguard the health and well-being of students.
The order, issued by the School Education Department under the Ministry, aims to minimize the adverse effects of the prevailing high temperatures on students. Normal school timings will resume from June 23, 2025.
This measure applies to all government and aided schools, as well as private educational institutions across the state, reflecting the government’s commitment to student safety during extreme weather conditions.
The directive has been issued in the name of the Governor of Chhattisgarh and signed by R.P. Verma, Under Secretary of the School Education Department, Mahanadi Bhawan, Nava Raipur Atal Nagar.
