TFP Bureau, Raipur, June 23, 2025: Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai paid homage to Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, India’s first Industry Minister, renowned educationist, and founder of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh, on his death anniversary today. At his residence office, the Chief Minister offered flowers to the portrait of Dr. Mukherjee and recalled his invaluable contributions to nation-building.
Shri Sai highlighted Dr. Mukherjee’s lifelong dedication to the vision of a united, socially just, and self-reliant India. “He was not only a skilled organizer but also a visionary leader who wove Indian politics with strong nationalism and cultural identity,” the Chief Minister said.
Dr. Mukherjee’s founding of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh, Shri Sai noted, gave rise to an ideology that continues to inspire and guide the country’s democratic values and national interests. The Chief Minister described Dr. Mukherjee’s life as a lesson in lifelong service to the nation, calling his dedication and ideals a lasting beacon of inspiration.
Concluding his tribute, Shri Vishnu Dev Sai reaffirmed the commitment to build a prosperous, strong, and self-reliant India by following the path laid out by Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee.
