TFP Bureau, Korba, July 1, 2025: BALCO Hospital has been awarded the prestigious accreditation from the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers (NABH), marking a significant step forward in the delivery of quality healthcare services in the Korba region. This recognition is a testament to the hospital’s adherence to the highest national standards in patient care, diagnostics, safety, and service efficiency.
Receiving NABH accreditation—widely considered the gold standard in healthcare quality and reliability—underscores BALCO Hospital’s commitment to providing accurate, patient-centric, and safe healthcare services. The achievement highlights the hospital’s continuous pursuit of excellence, quality improvement, and clinical efficiency.
Speaking on the occasion of Doctor’s Day, BALCO CEO and Director Mr. Rajesh Kumar congratulated the entire medical team and honored hospital doctors for their exemplary service. He emphasized the hospital’s role in introducing state-of-the-art medical technologies in Korba and reaffirmed BALCO’s commitment to enhancing healthcare access across the region. “We aim to provide modern medical facilities and ensure that the latest healthcare technologies and advanced treatments are accessible to all,” he stated.

BALCO Hospital, equipped with 125 modern beds, offers comprehensive healthcare to BALCO employees, their families, and residents of surrounding districts. The hospital’s multidisciplinary team includes general physicians, ophthalmologists, ENT specialists, pediatricians, radiologists, anesthesiologists, physiotherapists, dentists, gynecologists, and orthopedic surgeons, supported by nine visiting consultants. With a medical team comprising 24 specialists, 69 nurses, and 126 staff members, the hospital also conducts regular health check-up camps, awareness programs, and fully implements all vaccination schemes under Ayushman Bharat and other government health initiatives.
