Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai Unveils One-Click Single Window System 2.0

TFP Bureau, Raipur, July 1, 2025: Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai today inaugurated the One-Click Single Window System 2.0 at the Chhattisgarh Industry Dialogue–2 in Raipur, heralding a new era of ease of doing business in the state. Addressing investors and dignitaries, he declared Chhattisgarh “no longer confined to its traditional core sectors,” but poised to emerge as a national hub for semiconductors, artificial intelligence, pharmaceuticals, defence, aerospace, and green hydrogen.

Highlighting the state’s rapid transformation, Shri Sai noted that in just six months, Chhattisgarh received investment proposals worth Rs 5.5 lakh crore following summits in Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru. “Our streamlined, transparent mechanism ensures that all approvals for industrial establishment are granted with a single click,” he said, announcing that Invitation to Invest letters totalling Rs 1,23,073 crore were handed over to 11 major companies, promising 20,627 new jobs.

At yesterday’s Cabinet meeting, the draft Chhattisgarh State Logistics Policy–2025 was approved, aimed at positioning the state as a national logistics hub. Shri Sai explained that the policy leverages Chhattisgarh’s strategic location to strengthen export infrastructure, develop dry ports and inland container depots, and offer affordable warehousing and distribution facilities—measures expected to deepen both domestic and international investments in logistics and e-commerce.

On the legislative front, the recently introduced Jan Vishwas Bill was lauded for decriminalising certain legal provisions, thereby reducing litigation and judicial costs for entrepreneurs. “This legislation is a major step toward simplifying business and livelihood, enhancing the ease of doing business across all sectors,” the Chief Minister affirmed.

Since mid-2023, the state government has implemented over 350 structural reforms, driving record improvements in business speed and efficiency. In Financial Year 2025, Chhattisgarh attracted Rs 1,63,749 crore—3.71 percent of India’s total investment inflows—underscoring its growing appeal among national and international investors.

Revolutionary Connectivity and Infrastructure
Shri Sai announced approval for a Rs 3,500 crore railway line between Raoghat and Jagdalpur, surveys for the Kothagudem–Kirandul line, and the Kharsia–Parmalaksa link to connect key industrial zones. He also revealed plans for a new inland waterway from Sambalpur to Nava Raipur and the launch of air cargo services. The state’s first AI Data Centre Park, a pharma hub and Medicity, plus special subsidies in textiles and pharmaceuticals, are under development to attract further investment.

Inclusive Growth in Bastar and Sarguja
Emphasising inclusive development, Shri Sai said Bastar—once plagued by Naxal violence—is now on the path to becoming “Developed Bastar.” Nearly 90,000 youth have completed skill-development training, with over 40,000 placed in jobs. Tourist initiatives like the Tirathgarh Glass Bridge and Bastar Tourism Circuit are gaining momentum, while royalty reimbursements and subsidies support tribal entrepreneurs. The Chief Minister reiterated the government’s commitment to eliminate the Naxal issue by March 2026 under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah.

Invitation to Investors
“I invite all entrepreneurs to invest in Chhattisgarh. Here, you will find both the confidence and infrastructure needed to be partners in our growth story,” Shri Sai concluded. Commerce and Industries Minister Shri Lakhan Lal Dewangan echoed this sentiment, praising the simplified industrial procedures and urging further investment in new industrial parks offering online plot allotments.

The event was attended by Chief Secretary Shri Amitabh Jain, Principal Secretary Shri Subodh Kumar Singh, Secretary Shri Rahul Bhagat, Commerce and Industries Department Secretary Shri Rajat Kumar, CSIDC Chairman Shri Rajeev Agrawal, Managing Director Shri Vishwesh Kumar, and industry representatives including Dr Manish Kumar Mandal and Shri Om Prakash Singhania.
