CM Sai Unveils ₹102 Crore Development Projects in Bemetara

TFP Bureau, Raipur, July 28, 2025: Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai reaffirmed his vision of transforming Chhattisgarh into a model state, highlighting the government’s pro-people initiatives and rapid development work. Addressing a massive public gathering at Nagar Panchayat Dadhi in Bemetara district, the CM dedicated and laid the foundation for 48 development projects worth ₹102 crore.

In his address, CM Sai said that within just one and a half years, the state government has taken several landmark decisions focused on inclusive development and public welfare. “We are delivering on our promises with sincerity and speed. Chhattisgarh will soon set an example for other states,” he stated.

The Chief Minister highlighted key achievements, including the approval of 18 lakh houses under the “Housing for All” mission and procurement of paddy at ₹3,100 per quintal, along with payment of pending bonuses from previous years. He also underscored the transformative impact of the Mahatari Vandan Yojana, under which 70 lakh women are receiving ₹1,000 per month, boosting financial empowerment at the grassroots.

Other major initiatives include the establishment of Atal Seva Kendras to provide digital services in villages and enhance the efficiency of local governance. CM Sai also emphasized the state’s commitment to environmental conservation by planting a sapling at the event venue.

The development works in Bemetara included the inauguration of 22 projects worth ₹35.76 crore and the foundation laying of 26 projects worth ₹66.91 crore. He also announced ₹5 lakh each for constructing cement concrete roads in 20 gram panchayats. Beneficiaries of various welfare schemes received materials during the function.

Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao, speaking on the occasion, announced ₹1.25 crore for the construction of a new municipal office building in Nagar Panchayat Dadhi. He said that the government’s schemes are designed to benefit the rural poor and farming communities.

Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Dr. Raman Singh praised the double-engine government, stating that the joint efforts of the Centre and state are bringing tangible progress. “Improving the lives of farmers, women, youth, and villagers is our top priority,” he said.

Food Minister Dayaldas Baghel, MLAs Dipesh Sahu, Rohit Sahu, and Ishwar Sahu, Rajak Development Board Chairman Prahlad Rajak, and several public representatives and officials also participated in the event.
