TFP Bureau, Raipur, July 29, 2025: The Government Engineering College, Bilaspur (Koni) has received an extension of accreditation for its Mechanical Engineering undergraduate program from the National Board of Accreditation (NBA), a key milestone in the institution’s pursuit of excellence in technical education.
The renewed accreditation will now be valid from the academic session 2025–26 to 2027–28, following a successful inspection conducted by the NBA expert team on June 21, 2025.
Previously, the program was accredited for the period 2022–23 to 2024–25, which was valid until June 30, 2025. The extension reaffirms the college’s continued compliance with national quality standards in curriculum, faculty, infrastructure, and student outcomes.
Officials from the college welcomed the recognition as a boost to the institution’s academic credibility and said it would further enhance career prospects for students, improve placement opportunities, and attract more collaborations in the field of engineering education.
