TFP Bureau, Raipur, August 7, 2025: Shoaib Dhebar, son of Anwar Dhebar, has been barred from holding any kind of meeting at the Central Jail Raipur for a period of three months. The action has been taken after he allegedly entered the prison meeting room without permission and disrupted official proceedings.
According to an official order issued by the Jail Superintendent, Shoaib Dhebar forced his way into the meeting area during a scheduled visit with a lawyer, despite clear instructions from prison staff not to do so. His actions reportedly interfered with both the security protocols and administrative operations of the jail.
A departmental inquiry conducted by Deputy Jail Superintendent M.N. Pradhan confirmed that Dhebar’s conduct amounted to obstruction of government work. Based on the findings, the Jail Superintendent invoked powers under Rule 690 of the Jail Manual to impose the meeting ban.
The Jail Superintendent stated that such incidents are being taken seriously to preserve order and discipline within the prison. He added that strict action would be taken against any individual attempting to breach jail protocols in the future.
