CGPSC Rejects Allegations on Evaluation Process of State Service Exam 2024

TFP Bureau, Raipur, August 29: The Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) has strongly objected to reports published on certain news web portals raising doubts over the evaluation process of the State Service (Main) Examination 2024. The Commission clarified that it is fully committed to ensuring a fair, transparent and error-free assessment system.

In its statement, the Commission noted that attempts were made to cast suspicion on the examination process by revealing the names of three evaluators. “A large number of subject experts are engaged for evaluation. Every answer sheet, including questions and sub-questions of each subject, undergoes multi-level scrutiny. Confidentiality is an essential obligation of the process,” the Commission said.

The Commission further alleged that the targeting of certain evaluators, who happen to work in the same institution, appears to have been done with personal motives. “Some individuals have deliberately tried to malign the process and raise unnecessary doubts,” the statement added.

Reiterating its constitutional responsibility, CGPSC affirmed that transparency and integrity remain the cornerstone of its selection process. The body also announced that information is being collected about the source of the disclosure of evaluator names, and appropriate departmental or legal action will be initiated.

The Commission urged all stakeholders to trust its established mechanisms and assured that the evaluation system remains unbiased and confidential.
