President of India to Visit Chhattisgarh, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh from November 20 to 22

TFP Bureau, New Delhi, November 19, 2025 — President Droupadi Murmu will embark on a three-day visit to Chhattisgarh, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh from November 20 to 22, during which she will participate in major national cultural and commemorative programmes.

According to an official release, the President will begin her tour on November 20 by attending the Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas celebration in Ambikapur, Chhattisgarh. The event, organised by the Government of Chhattisgarh, is aimed at honouring the contributions, heritage and identity of tribal communities across the nation. The President’s presence is expected to add significance to the state-level observance, which includes cultural presentations and interactions with tribal groups.

On November 21, President Murmu will travel to Secunderabad, where she will inaugurate the Bharatiya Kala Mahotsav 2025 at Rashtrapati Nilayam, Bolarum. The second edition of this national art festival will feature the cultural, artistic and culinary diversity of Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Goa, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, and Daman & Diu. The Mahotsav aims to bring together traditional artisans, performers and regional cuisines, offering visitors a vibrant showcase of India’s creative traditions.

The final leg of the visit on November 22 will take the President to Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh. She will grace the special session commemorating the centenary celebration of Sri Sathya Sai Baba at Prasanthi Nilayam. The programme will include spiritual discourses, devotional music and large gatherings of devotees marking the 100th birth anniversary of the revered spiritual leader.

The three-day itinerary underlines the President’s continued engagement with cultural, tribal and spiritual institutions across the country, reflecting her focus on inclusivity, heritage and community development.
