Chhattisgarh’s Silver Jubilee to Dazzle with Five Days of Cultural Extravaganza

TFP Bureau, Raipur, October 30, 2025: The state of Chhattisgarh is set to mark its Silver Jubilee celebrations with a grand cultural festival showcasing the vibrant traditions and contemporary artistry of India. From November 1 to 5, the Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Commerce and Trade Complex in Nava Raipur will come alive with captivating performances by nationally acclaimed and local artists, celebrating 25 years of the state’s formation.

This year’s State Festival will feature a dynamic lineup of performances across two venues — the Main Stage and the Shilpgram Stage. The opening day will witness a special performance by popular singer Hansraj Raghuwanshi, followed by appearances by celebrated artists Aditya Narayan, Ankit Tiwari, Bhumi Trivedi, and Kailash Kher in the following days. Alongside these stars, several accomplished folk and classical artists from Chhattisgarh will enthrall audiences with traditional dance, music, and theatrical presentations.

The festivities will begin on November 1 at 11:00 AM with a performance by Aishwarya Pandit. The day will include cultural acts by PC Lal Yadav, Aaru Sahu, Dushyant Harmukh, and Nirmala Thakur, culminating in a highly anticipated concert by Hansraj Raghuwanshi at 8:00 PM. On November 2, the highlight will be a live performance by Aditya Narayan at 9:00 PM, following acts by Sunil Tiwari, Jayshree Nair’s “Chinhari The Girl Band,” and the Padma Shri Domar Singh Kanwar Nacha group.

On November 3, Bhumi Trivedi will headline the evening with her performance at 9:00 PM. The cultural evening will also include Pandwani by Padma Shri Usha Barle, devotional Sufi singing by Rakesh Sharma, and a theatrical presentation by Kuleshwar Tamrakar’s Lokmanch troupe. The following evening, November 4, playback singer Ankit Tiwari will perform at 9:00 PM after performances by Kala Kendra Raipur Band, folk singer Rekha Devar, and artist Prakash Awasthi. The festival will conclude on November 5 with a grand finale featuring celebrated singer Kailash Kher at 9:00 PM, preceded by a performance by Poonam Virat Tiwari from Indira Kala Sangeet University, Khairagarh.

In addition to the main stage festivities, the Shilpgram Stage will host a vibrant array of performances each day, highlighting Chhattisgarh’s folk traditions and India’s diverse cultural heritage.

On November 1, audiences will enjoy performances ranging from piano recitals by Mohammad Anas and Kathak by Basanti Vaishnav to folk songs by Manglurram Yadav and theatre acts by Chandrabhushan Verma. The following days will see diverse art forms such as Bharthari singing, Bharatnatyam, Pandwani, folk drama, and fusion bands presented by artists including Rekha Jalakshetriya, Deepali Pandey, Pusauram Banjare, Suresh Thakur, Bhumisuta Mishra, and Durga Sahu.

Throughout the five-day celebration, the Shilpgram Stage will showcase over 100 artists representing the rich tapestry of Chhattisgarh’s artistic traditions — from classical dance and folk music to traditional theatre and devotional performances.

The Chhattisgarh Silver Jubilee Festival promises to be a cultural spectacle that reflects the state’s journey of progress and pride over the past 25 years, while honouring its deep-rooted traditions, artistic excellence, and youthful energy.
