Chief Minister Pays Floral Tribute to Chhattisgarh Mahatari on State’s 25th Foundation Day

TFP Bureau, Raipur, November 1, 2025: On the momentous occasion of Chhattisgarh’s 25th Foundation Day, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai paid a heartfelt floral tribute to the statue of Chhattisgarh Mahatari at the Collectorate campus in Raipur. The Chief Minister offered prayers seeking peace, prosperity, and all-round progress for the people of the state as it celebrates 25 years of its formation.

Performing traditional puja-archana as per the rich folk traditions of the region, Chief Minister Sai invoked the blessings of Chhattisgarh Mahatari—the revered embodiment of the state’s culture, identity, and motherhood. He described her as the eternal symbol of Chhattisgarh’s pride, spirituality, and resilience. “Chhattisgarh Mahatari represents our soul, our culture, and our unyielding belief in the strength of the mother. It is under her divine grace that Chhattisgarh continues to move forward with courage and unity,” the Chief Minister said.

Extending his greetings to citizens on the State’s Silver Jubilee, the Chief Minister emphasized his government’s unwavering commitment to the holistic development of Chhattisgarh. He reiterated that the administration is dedicated to uplifting every section of society—empowering women, advancing agriculture, supporting tribal welfare, nurturing youth potential, and preserving the unique cultural identity of the state through inclusive governance and welfare-oriented initiatives.

Calling the 25th Foundation Day a “milestone of pride and renewal,” the Chief Minister said the Silver Jubilee year marks not only a time for celebration but also a moment for reflection and reaffirmation of goals. “This day holds special importance as Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting Chhattisgarh to inaugurate several transformative projects that will shape the state’s future,” he noted.

He expressed confidence that with collective effort and divine blessings, Chhattisgarh will emerge as one of the most developed and progressive states in the nation. “Our pledge today is to continue walking the path of development, guided by the values and blessings of Chhattisgarh Mahatari,” the Chief Minister added.

The event was attended by MLA Purandar Mishra, senior officials, and several distinguished citizens, all of whom joined in paying homage to the state’s divine mother and celebrating the enduring spirit of Chhattisgarh.
