PM Modi Praises Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai for Driving Transformation in the State

TFP Bureau, Raipur, November 16, 2025: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday lauded Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai for ushering in what he described as a “transformation” in the state. The Prime Minister made the remarks during the national Tribal Pride Day celebrations held in Dediapada, Gujarat, where he highlighted the expanding leadership role of India’s tribal communities.

Addressing the gathering, the Prime Minister said that increased tribal representation in governance is becoming a defining feature of India’s development narrative. He underscored Chhattisgarh’s “critical role” in strengthening this momentum, noting that the state, under the leadership of a tribal chief minister, is witnessing “broad-based development and clear, positive progress across sectors.” This, he said, reflects the true spirit of the guiding principle “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas.”

Shri Modi also referred to his recent visit to Raipur, where he inaugurated the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh Memorial and Tribal Freedom Fighters Museum. Calling the museum a “grand symbol” of Chhattisgarh’s tribal history, heritage and sacrifice, he said it would serve as a lasting national monument to the courage and contributions of tribal freedom fighters.

The Prime Minister’s strong affirmation of Chhattisgarh’s tribal identity, culture and welfare efforts has drawn widespread appreciation across the state.

Responding to the remarks, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said the Prime Minister’s praise had greatly encouraged the people of Chhattisgarh. He reaffirmed his government’s commitment to the principles of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas,” and said that under Shri Modi’s guidance, the state had seen significant strides in tribal empowerment, expansion of basic amenities, education, healthcare, livelihood opportunities and cultural preservation.

Expressing gratitude, Shri Sai described the Prime Minister as “the pride of the nation” and said his affection for Chhattisgarh is deeply valued by the tribal community. “Every word he speaks for Chhattisgarh is like nectar,” he said, pledging to serve “Chhattisgarh Mahtari” with renewed dedication.

Reiterating his resolve to accelerate the state’s growth, the Chief Minister said Chhattisgarh would fully contribute to the Prime Minister’s vision of a Viksit Bharat by building a “Viksit Chhattisgarh.” He added that the government remains committed to protecting the identity, self-respect and aspirations of tribal communities, and expressed confidence that, with the Prime Minister’s blessings, the journey of development would become more dynamic and far-reaching.
