TFP Bureau, Raipur, November 18, 2025: The Chhattisgarh Government has launched a month-long special campaign to facilitate the submission of Digital Life Certificates (DLC) for pensioners, significantly easing the annual verification process. Under the new arrangement, pensioners are no longer required to visit their original bank branch; instead, they may submit their DLC at any bank across the state or complete the process from home using the “Jeevan Pramaan” mobile app or the official portal.
The initiative follows guidelines issued by the Department of Pension & Pensioners’ Welfare, Government of India, and the Directorate of Pension & Provident Fund, Government of Chhattisgarh. The campaign aims to expand access, reduce travel for elderly pensioners, and ensure seamless continuation of pension disbursement.
Director of Pension & Provident Fund, Chhattisgarh, Smt. Padmini Bhoi Sahu, has instructed all banks and district treasuries to complete the maximum number of DLC submissions before the November pension release date. In a recent meeting, she urged bank officials to ensure that no pensioner faces any delay or disruption in receiving their pension.
Following these directives, the State Bank of India and several other banks have begun organising special camps under the “Digital Life Certificate Mission 4.0.” These camps are being set up across major towns and cities and are equipped with facial authentication technology to simplify and expedite the submission process.
Under Central Government instructions, all banks are now responsible for generating Digital Life Certificates for any pensioner visiting their branch, regardless of the branch or bank where the pension account is maintained.
Authorities have appealed to pensioners to make timely use of the facility—either by visiting any bank, attending special camps, or submitting their certificate online—to ensure uninterrupted pension payments.
