TFP Bureau,Raipur, January 10, 2025: In a major step towards strengthening transparent, efficient and technology-driven administration, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai on Thursday launched the e-Pragati Portal, a comprehensive digital platform aimed at monitoring governance performance and accelerating development outcomes across Chhattisgarh.
The Chief Minister said the e-Pragati Portal would serve as a powerful tool for real-time review of schemes, projects and departmental performance, enabling faster decision-making and improved accountability. He emphasised that digital platforms like e-Pragati reflect the state government’s commitment to citizen-centric governance, where efficiency, transparency and results remain the top priorities.
On the occasion, the Chief Minister also presented the Chief Minister’s Excellence Award for Good Governance and Innovation to five departments and five districts for their outstanding performance, innovative practices and effective implementation of government schemes. The awards were instituted to recognise excellence in public service delivery and to encourage healthy competition among departments and district administrations.
Addressing officers and officials present at the programme, Shri Sai said innovation and good governance go hand in hand. “When technology, transparency and sensitivity come together, governance becomes more impactful and responsive to the needs of the people,” he remarked. He urged officials to make optimum use of the e-Pragati Portal to track progress, identify gaps and ensure timely completion of public welfare initiatives.
Senior officials said the portal integrates data from multiple departments on a single digital dashboard, allowing the Chief Minister and top administrators to closely monitor key indicators, flagship schemes and district-wise performance. This, they added, will help improve inter-departmental coordination and ensure focused interventions where needed.
Congratulating the award-winning departments and districts, the Chief Minister said their achievements set benchmarks for others and demonstrate how innovation and dedication can transform governance on the ground. He expressed confidence that the recognition would further motivate officials to adopt best practices and deliver better outcomes for citizens.
The launch of the e-Pragati Portal and the conferment of excellence awards mark another milestone in Chhattisgarh’s journey towards modern, transparent and outcome-oriented governance under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai.
