The School Education Department has approved the re-appointment of eligible teachers, from Assistant Teachers to Principals, serving in government and fully aided schools until the end of the 2026-27 academic session, ensuring uninterrupted education across the state.
TFP Bureau, Raipur, June 30,2026: The Chhattisgarh government has approved the re-appointment of eligible teachers serving in government and 100 per cent grant-in-aid schools until the conclusion of the 2026-27 academic session, a move aimed at ensuring continuity in teaching and preventing disruptions in classroom learning.
The administrative approval was issued by the School Education Department through an order from Mantralaya Mahanadi Bhawan, Nava Raipur Atal Nagar. The decision covers the entire teaching cadre, ranging from Assistant Teachers to Principals, and has been taken based on a proposal submitted by the Directorate of Public Instruction.
The department has directed the Director of Public Instruction to initiate the necessary process immediately and ensure that re-appointments are granted to all eligible teachers in accordance with the prescribed guidelines.
Officials said the decision will help maintain the smooth functioning of government and fully aided schools across the state by ensuring the availability of teaching staff throughout the academic session. The move is also expected to safeguard students’ academic interests by preventing interruptions in classroom instruction and maintaining continuity in the education system.
