District Collectors asked to identify eligible beneficiaries, prepare housing action plans and ensure permanent homes for homeless families
TFP Bureau, Raipur, July 9,2026: Chief Secretary Vikas Sheel on Wednesday directed district administrations to identify suitable land and eligible beneficiaries for the effective implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) 2.0, with the objective of ensuring permanent housing for homeless families across the state.
The directions were issued during a meeting of the Pradhan Mantri Awas 2.0 Land Task Force held at Mantralaya Mahanadi Bhawan.
