Chief Minister pays tribute to late leader on death anniversary, recalls his contribution to tribal welfare and social awakening

TFP Bureau, Raipur, August 14, 2026: Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Friday paid tribute to former Union minister and prominent tribal leader late Dilip Singh Judev on his death anniversary, recalling his lifelong contribution to the nation, society and Sanatan cultural traditions.

The Chief Minister offered flowers at Judev’s portrait at his official residence in Raipur and remembered his contribution to public service.

Sai said Judev dedicated his entire life to serving the nation and society, with a particular focus on protecting the interests and self-respect of tribal communities. His efforts towards social awareness and his sensitivity towards marginalized sections of society earned him a special place among the people, he said.

The Chief Minister said Judev shared a deep connection with the people and soil of Chhattisgarh. His efforts to organise tribal communities, strengthen their self-confidence and give greater voice to their concerns were particularly significant in the tribal regions of the state.

“His life remains an inspiring example of national service, social commitment and unwavering devotion to culture and traditions,” Sai said, adding that Judev’s ideals would continue to inspire future generations to work with dedication for society and the nation.

Prabal Pratap Singh Judev, Chhattisgarh State Women’s Commission member Priyamvada Singh Judev, renowned producer-director Dr Chandraprakash Dwivedi and Chhattisgarh Sahitya Akademi Chairman Shashank Sharma were also present on the occasion.
