Public Health and Family Welfare Department tops July e-Office ranking; officers, employees and district offices recognised for efficiency and punctuality
TFP Bureau, Raipur, September 1, 2026: Chhattisgarh Chief Secretary Vikassheel honoured officers and employees for outstanding performance in e-Office operations and punctual attendance at a monthly felicitation ceremony held at Mantralaya Mahanadi Bhawan, Nava Raipur Atal Nagar, on Tuesday.
Certificates of appreciation were presented to employees for their performance during July in ensuring speedy disposal of files through the e-Office system and maintaining punctual attendance. The Public Health and Family Welfare Department secured first position in the departmental e-Office ranking, followed by the Tribal Development Department in second place and the Village Industries Department in third.
Congratulating the awardees, the Chief Secretary urged all officers and employees to maintain the momentum in e-Office operations. He also emphasised the importance of continuous learning through the iGOT platform, directing every officer and employee to complete at least three to four courses every month based on the requirements of their respective departments.
Officers and employees who performed exceptionally well on the iGOT platform at the state level were also felicitated.
Officers and staff recognised for e-Office performance
In the ranking covering positions from Joint Secretary to Junior Secretariat Assistant, Additional Secretary Sachchidanand Alok of the Panchayat and Rural Development Department secured first place, followed by Joint Secretary Jaishree Jain of the Forest and Climate Change Department and Joint Secretary Bhupendra Kumar Rajput of the Tribal Development Department.
Among Deputy Secretaries, Doordeshi Ram Sontapar of the Forest and Climate Change Department stood first, Vipul Kumar Gupta of the Labour Department second and Ritu Verma of General Administration Department, Cell-8, third.
In the Under Secretary category, Puran Lal Sahu of the Home Department secured first position, Kailash Kumar Netam of General Administration Department, Cell-1, second and Divya Vaishnav of the Public Health and Family Welfare Department third.
Among Section Officers, Virendra Kumar and Jeevan Lal Netam of the Public Health and Family Welfare Department secured first and second positions respectively, while Yogendra Kumar Sahu of the Commerce and Industries Department stood third.
Mohammad Shahir Ansari of the Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department topped the Assistant Section Officer category, followed by Priya Bagde of the Public Health and Family Welfare Department and Jalesh Ram of General Administration Department, Cell-4.
Among Senior Secretariat Assistants, Mukesh Ram Pradhan of the Public Health and Family Welfare Department secured first place, Gaurav Kumar Rai of the Scheduled Castes Development Department second and Anju Dutta third.
Prabhu Singh Rathia of the Public Health and Family Welfare Department topped the Junior Secretariat Assistant category, followed by Sandeep Kumar Taram of the Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department and Umesh Yadav of the Urban Administration Department.
Among other staff, Shesh Narayan Sahu, Assistant Grade-2 in the Tribal Development Department, secured first place, followed by Data Entry Operator Maya Dewangan of the Forest and Climate Change Department and Tarun Kumar Dhritlahre of the Law and Legislative Affairs Department.
Three-month rankings announced
The three-month e-Office ranking saw Joint Secretary Bhupendra Kumar Rajput of the Tribal Development Department secure first position, followed by Additional Secretary Sachchidanand Alok of the Panchayat and Rural Development Department and Joint Secretary Jaishree Jain of the Forest and Climate Change Department.
In the three-month attendance ranking, Assistant Section Officer Lok Narayan Sharma of the Higher Education Department stood first, followed by Peon Raj Kumar Sori of the General Administration Department and Senior Secretariat Assistant Melu Ram Dhruv of the General Administration Department.
The Public Health and Family Welfare Department secured the top position in the three-month departmental ranking, while the Health and Family Welfare Department and Home Department secured the second and third positions respectively. The Forest and Climate Change Department was also recognised.
Heads of departments and district offices felicitated
Among Heads of Department offices, Higher Education Commissioner Rita Yadav secured first position in the e-Office ranking. Tribal Development Commissioner D. Rahul Venkat stood second and Additional Director, Higher Education Department, John Tigga, third. Ved Prakash Dewangan of the Medical Education Department and Pitambar Prasad of the Public Health and Family Welfare Department secured fourth and fifth positions respectively.
In the district office category, Assistant Project Officer Anita Jain of Raipur secured first position, followed by Office Assistant-cum-Data Entry Operator Nandani Soni of Sakti, Nodal Officer Pankaj Kumar Sharma of Raipur, e-District Technical Manager Tulsi Dewangan of Sakti and Superintendent Rajendra Singh Dhurve of Kabirdham.
iGOT performers also honoured
In the state-level iGOT ranking, Gautam Kumar Dewangan, Watchman at the Office of the Commissioner, Bilaspur, secured first position. Prem Narayan Nayak, Lecturer at the Office of the District Education Officer, Baloda Bazar, stood second, while Police Constable Dinesh Kumar from the Office of the Superintendent of Police, Balod, secured third position.
The felicitation programme highlighted the state government’s focus on digital governance, timely file disposal, punctuality and continuous capacity building among government employees.
