*Ganesh Chaturthi reflects our rich culture, faith and social unity: Chief Minister Shri Sai
TFP Bureau, Raipur, September 14, 2026: Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai welcomed Lord Ganesha into his home on Monday, installing the idol at his official residence and performing the puja with his family as part of the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. Following traditional rituals, Shri Sai offered prayers for the happiness, well-being and prosperity of the people of Chhattisgarh.
Extending Ganesh Chaturthi greetings to the people of the state, Shri Sai said Lord Ganesha symbolises wisdom and sound judgement, and that it has long been a tradition to begin every auspicious undertaking by worshipping him. Ganeshotsav, he said, is not only a festival of faith but also an occasion that strengthens love, harmony and unity in society.
Festivals hold special significance in Chhattisgarh’s culture, the Chief Minister added, as they connect people with their traditions and roots while bringing families and communities together. The spirit of Ganeshotsav, he said, reflects collective participation, harmony and public welfare.
Members of the Chief Minister’s family, his Advisor Dr Dhirendra Tiwari, Press Officer Shri Alok Singh and officials of the Chief Minister’s Residence Office were present on the occasion.
