120 posts each in Hindi, English and Sanskrit; recruitment examination tentatively scheduled for November 29
TFP Bureau, Raipur, September 22, 2026: The Chhattisgarh School Education Department is set to begin recruitment for 854 Lecturer posts, as part of the State government’s plan to recruit 5,000 teaching personnel in the department.
According to the Directorate of Public Instruction, 424 of the 854 posts will be filled in E-cadre schools and 430 in T-cadre schools.
Hindi, English and Sanskrit have the highest number of vacancies, with 120 posts each. The recruitment will also include 94 posts in Physics and 100 posts each in Political Science, History, Geography and Economics.
The educational qualifications, age limit and other eligibility conditions will be specified in the detailed recruitment advertisement. The syllabus for the written examination will be made available on the website of the Chhattisgarh Staff Selection Board (CGSSB).
The detailed recruitment advertisement will be published on the Chhattisgarh Vyapam website. The written examination will be conducted by the CGSSB.
The examination is tentatively scheduled for November 29, 2026. The schedule for submission of applications and other details will be announced separately by the CGSSB.
