TFP Bureau, New Delhi, May 7,2025: In a decisive response to the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam that claimed 26 civilian lives, the Indian Armed Forces on Wednesday launched ‘Operation Sindoor’, striking multiple terrorist infrastructure sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).
According to an official statement from the Indian Army, nine terror-linked sites were targeted in the coordinated military action, aimed at neutralizing bases used to plan and direct attacks on Indian soil.
“A little while ago, the Indian Armed Forces launched ‘Operation Sindoor’ hitting terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir from where terrorist attacks against India have been planned and directed,” the Army stated early Wednesday.
While further operational details remain classified, defense sources indicated that the strikes were precise and focused on high-value terror assets. The move marks a significant escalation in India’s counter-terror strategy following heightened tensions in the wake of the Pahalgam massacre.
