TFP Bureau, Raipur, May 14, 2025: A massive crowd gathered in the heart of Raipur today for the Tiranga Yatra, led by Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, as citizens from all walks of life came together to express their unwavering unity and patriotism in support of national security. With men, women, children, retired soldiers, and social service organizations participating in large numbers, the Yatra symbolized the spirit of national pride and solidarity.
In his address, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai emphasized that the entire nation stands united when it comes to the security of India. “We are with our country, our Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, and our army,” he said, reinforcing the message of national unity. The Chief Minister also highlighted the bravery of the Indian Army, saluting the courageous men and women who protect the nation from external threats.
Paying Tribute to Indian Soldiers’ Valor
Chief Minister Sai praised the Indian Army’s recent accomplishments, particularly Operation Sindoor, in which the army successfully destroyed nine terrorist bases in Pakistan. “Today’s India is a new India, capable of giving a strong reply to any audacity,” he said, expressing pride in the nation’s strength and resolve. He also acknowledged the diplomatic efforts of Prime Minister Modi, which have elevated India’s respect on the global stage and exposed Pakistan’s role in supporting terrorism.
The Chief Minister reassured citizens that while Operation Sindoor may have been postponed, it has not been stopped, emphasizing the importance of staying cautious in the face of rumors. “We have full faith in our army and leadership; the country is safe in their hands,” he added.
A Unified Front for National Security
Lok Sabha MP from Raipur, Mr. Brijmohan Agarwal, reiterated the message of unity, stating that the Tiranga Yatra is a symbol of national pride. He commended Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, which has propelled the country to new heights, with the army playing a central role in securing India’s borders.
Jagdalpur MLA Mr. Kiran Dev also spoke about the courage of the Indian soldiers, highlighting the significance of Operation Sindoor as a response to the Pahalgam terrorist attack. He described it as a symbol of the nation’s pride and a tribute to the sacrifices made by families of soldiers.
Mr. Sanjay Srivastava, coordinator of the event and Chairman of Chhattisgarh Civil Supplies Corporation, emphasized that all 140 crore citizens of India are united for national security. “We all stand with our army soldiers,” he said, reiterating the collective resolve of the nation.
A Record Turnout in Raipur
The Tiranga Yatra, which began at Marine Drive and culminated at Nagar Ghadi Chowk, saw around 10,000 participants waving the tricolor and chanting patriotic slogans like “Bharat Mata Ki Jai.” The procession was a remarkable display of unity, with people from various religions, castes, and communities coming together to celebrate the bravery of Indian soldiers and the success of Operation Sindoor.
Among those present at the event were Union Minister of State for Housing and Urban Affairs, Mr. Tokhan Sahu, Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Arun Saw, Agriculture Minister Mr. Ramvichar Netam, and several other ministers and MLAs, along with Mayor Mrs. Meenal Choubey.
