TFP Bureau, Raipur, May 29, 2025: Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai inaugurated the awareness chariot for the nationwide Vikasit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan today in Bhainsa village, Raipur district, under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. The campaign, running from May 29 to June 12, aims to bring scientific agricultural research directly to farmers, reaching over 13 lakh cultivators across the state.
At the event, Shri Sai handed over keys to 110 beneficiaries of pucca houses built under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY), reiterating the government’s commitment to providing permanent homes to poor families as part of fulfilling the Prime Minister’s vision.
The Chief Minister emphasized that agricultural scientists will collaborate with state experts to bridge the gap between laboratory research and practical farming, offering farmers advanced, balanced farming techniques and receiving their feedback.
During the Sushasan Tihar camp held alongside the campaign, Shri Sai also took direct feedback from beneficiaries on government schemes. Among them, Shri Chamar Singh Patel highlighted the need to promote horticulture and water-efficient crops due to declining water levels, while Mrs. Chandan praised the Mahtari Vandan Yojana for supporting her children’s education.

Development Announcements and Support
The Chief Minister announced development projects worth approximately Rs 3.5 crore for Bhainsa and surrounding areas. These include:
- Rs 75 lakh for Primary Health Centre in Bhainsa
- Rs 75.23 lakh for high school building construction
- Rs 55 lakh for water tank and pipeline extension
- Rs 50 lakh for higher secondary school
- Rs 20 lakh for compound and shed construction
- Rs 42 lakh for pipeline extension in Amodi village
- Rs 24 lakh for construction of three additional rooms in a higher secondary school
- Opening of a new police post in Bhainsa
Additionally, grant cheques for agricultural equipment, tricycles for disabled persons, and Kisan Credit Cards were distributed at the camp.
Union Minister of State Shri Tokhan Sahu and Agriculture Minister Shri Ramvichar Netam urged farmers to actively participate in the Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan, stressing that research must move beyond labs into every village. They noted that 100 central government scientists will conduct two camps daily with local experts to educate farmers on advanced agricultural practices.
Local MLA Shri Guru Khuswant Saheb appealed for further developmental initiatives, while Raipur Collector Shri Gaurav Singh reported that over 2.98 lakh applications received in the district’s first phase of public grievance resolution have been largely addressed, with only 26 complaints pending. More than 5,000 learning licenses have also been issued at the camps.
Other dignitaries present included Revenue Minister Mr. Tank Ram Verma, Chairman of Chhattisgarh Seed and Agriculture Development Corporation Mr. Chandrahas Chandrakar, Kisan Kalyan Parishad Chairman Mr. Suresh Chandravanshi, Agriculture Production Commissioner and Secretary Mrs. Shahla Nigar, Raipur Division Commissioner Mr. Mahadev Kavre, SSP Mr. Lal Umed Singh, Raipur District Panchayat CEO Mr. Kumar Vishwaranjan, and Municipal Corporation Commissioner Mr. Vishwadeep, along with numerous public representatives and villagers.
