TFP Bureau, Raipur, June 25, 2025: The Chhattisgarh Government on Tuesday issued transfer orders for nine Indian Police Service (IPS) officers of the 2019 and 2020 batches as part of a routine reshuffle. According to the notification released by the Home (Police) Department, these officers have been reassigned to new roles across the state, ranging from district police chiefs to commandants of special armed forces.
As per the order issued from Mahanadi Bhawan, Atal Nagar, the following key postings were announced:
- Shri Pramath Kumar (2019 batch), Superintendent of Police (SP), Narayanpur, has been appointed as SP (Special Branch), with additional charge as SP, Chhattisgarh Armed Forces (CAF), New Raipur.
- Shri Vikram Singh (2020 batch), currently posted as Deputy Inspector General (DIG), Police Headquarters, New Raipur, has also been posted as SP (Special Branch) with additional charge as SP, CAF, New Raipur.
- Ms. Pooja Kumar (2020 batch), Additional SP, Dantewada, will now take charge as SP (Railways), Bilaspur.
- Shri Mayank Gupta (2020 batch), Additional SP, Bijapur, will lead as Commandant, 15th Battalion, CAF, Bijapur.
- Shri Santosh Kumar Patel (2020 batch), ASP, Jagdalpur, has been transferred as Commandant, 16th Battalion, CAF, Narayanpur.
- Shri Rajan Kumar Sahu (2020 batch), ASP, Dantewada, has been appointed SP, STF, Bacheli, Durg.
- Shri Shivkumar Kurre (2020 batch), ASP, Narayanpur, will now serve as SP, Narayanpur district.
- Shri Viresh Jain (2020 batch), City SP, Durg, has been posted as Additional SP, Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki.
- Shri Umesh Prasad Gupta (2020 batch), Additional SP, Sukma, has been made Commandant, 14th Battalion, CAF, Dhurena, Balod.
The transfers have been made in the interest of administrative efficiency and public service delivery. The orders were issued with the approval of the Hon’ble Governor, and signed by Dr. S. K. Koshle, Under Secretary, Home (Police) Department, Government of Chhattisgarh.
