TFP Bureau, Raipur, August 29, 2025: Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai’s popularity has seen a steady rise, with the latest India Today–C Voter Mood of the Nation (MOTN) Survey showing 41.9 percent of respondents in Chhattisgarh expressing satisfaction with his leadership. The figure marks a 2.9 percentage point increase compared to February 2025, elevating him to second place among chief ministers of big states.
The sharp rise in approval is attributed to the Sushasan Tihar outreach programme, where the Chief Minister toured districts, addressed public grievances through redressal camps and accelerated grassroots implementation of government schemes. His proactive style, coupled with administrative reforms such as the e-office system, crackdown on corruption and transparent recruitment processes, has strengthened faith in governance.
Key welfare measures including Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Mahtari Vandan Yojana for women, and Krishak Unnati Yojana for farmers have deepened public satisfaction, particularly among rural households. Employment and investment-friendly policies, along with new business opportunities, have further boosted youth confidence in the government.

The Chief Minister’s recent investor tour to Japan and South Korea also contributed to the positive momentum. The Chhattisgarh Investor Connect Programme opened avenues in food processing, electronics and industrial cooperation, positioning the state prominently on the global investment map.
On the infrastructure front, the government has accelerated projects in roads, irrigation, electricity and railways. Regular district visits by the Chief Minister have reinforced his image as a leader directly connected with the people.
Sai’s participation in cultural and social programmes such as the Silver Jubilee Mahotsav, Teeja-Pora Mahotsav and Swachhata Sangam has further deepened his bond with the masses, projecting him as both an administrative reformer and a custodian of traditions.
Reacting to the survey findings, Chief Minister Sai said the achievement reflects the trust and cooperation of the people. “Our government will continue to work with honesty and dedication to fulfill the aspirations of farmers, laborers, women and youth. Chhattisgarh will set new benchmarks in development and good governance,” he assured.
The MOTN survey findings underline that one in every two citizens in Chhattisgarh is satisfied with the functioning of the state government. Political observers say this growing trust not only cements Vishnu Dev Sai’s position as a strong performer nationally but also signals Chhattisgarh’s emergence as a rising state in India’s development journey.
