ITI Admission Counseling: Seventh and Eighth Round Schedule Announced

TFP Bureau, Raipur, September 17, 2025: The Directorate of Employment and Training has released the detailed schedule for the seventh and eighth rounds of counseling for admissions to government Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) in Chhattisgarh. The registration window for this phase will remain open until 11:59 PM on September 21, 2025, giving interested candidates a final opportunity to secure admission to vacant ITI seats across the state.

The online application process will continue to be conducted through the official website, cgiti.admissions.nic.in. Authorities have emphasized that even candidates who had already applied in earlier rounds must log in again with their registered ID and password to re-select their profile, institution, and trade preferences. Officials clarified that failure to complete this step will result in exclusion from the upcoming rounds of counseling, regardless of previous participation.

According to the timeline, the merit list of eligible candidates will be published on September 22, 2025. The selection list for the seventh round will be released on September 23, following which admissions will take place between September 24 and September 25 at respective institutions. For the eighth round, the selection list will be declared on September 26 and 27, and candidates allotted seats will be required to complete their admission formalities from September 29 to September 30.

The Directorate has urged candidates to carefully monitor updates on the official portal and ensure that they follow the prescribed procedures within the stipulated deadlines. With ITIs offering training in diverse trades ranging from electronics, mechanics, and welding to hospitality and computer applications, officials expect a high level of competition for the remaining seats.

Authorities also highlighted that the counseling process has been designed to maximize transparency and efficiency. By requiring previously registered applicants to re-select their choices, the system ensures that candidates’ latest preferences are taken into account and vacant seats are filled effectively.

The ITI admissions are seen as a crucial step toward equipping youth with practical skills and technical expertise to meet the growing demands of industry and employment markets in Chhattisgarh and beyond. Training through ITIs has been recognized as a significant pathway for both self-employment and placement in organized sectors, making these final rounds of counseling an important opportunity for aspiring students.
