Chhattisgarh to Showcase Industrial Strength and Cultural Heritage at India International Trade Fair 2025

TFP Bureau, Raipur, November 13, 2025: Chhattisgarh is all set to present its industrial achievements and cultural vibrancy at the India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2025, beginning on November 14 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. The exhibition, which will continue until November 27, will feature a grand Chhattisgarh Pavilion designed on the theme of Ek Bharat–Shreshtha Bharat. The pavilion will highlight the state’s rapid industrial progress, rich cultural heritage, tourism potential, and innovative initiatives in forest-based and rural industries.

The Chhattisgarh Pavilion will serve as a comprehensive platform for investors, entrepreneurs, and visitors to explore the state’s growing industrial ecosystem and business-friendly policies. The pavilion will showcase major provisions of the new Industrial Policy, which aims to promote micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), enhance infrastructure, and attract sustainable investments. Visitors will receive detailed information about the incentives available for industries and the opportunities emerging across sectors such as manufacturing, logistics, agro-processing, and renewable energy. Investor connect sessions will also be organized during the event to strengthen business engagement and foster long-term partnerships.

Beyond industrial development, the pavilion will offer a rich display of Chhattisgarh’s cultural and tourism potential. Handicrafts, handloom, and traditional art from across the state will be showcased, reflecting the creativity and craftsmanship of local artisans. A special Digital Bastar Exhibition has been prepared to showcase the unique identity, traditions, and artistic brilliance of the Bastar region using modern interactive technology. The state’s Khadi and Village Industries sector will also feature prominently, highlighting the employment opportunities and entrepreneurial models driving rural development.

A special day dedicated to Chhattisgarh will be celebrated on November 24 at Bharat Mandapam. The occasion will feature a vibrant cultural program organized by the Department of Culture, likely to be attended by the Governor, Chief Minister, and other senior dignitaries. Throughout the fair, visitors will be treated to live demonstrations of village industries, craft-making, and daily cultural performances, offering an authentic glimpse into the state’s rich traditions.

One of the major attractions of the pavilion will be the Millet Café, where visitors can taste a range of millet-based delicacies prepared from locally grown grains such as kodo, kutki, ragi, and sanwa. The initiative aims to promote awareness about nutritious and climate-resilient food crops and attract investment in the state’s growing millet economy. Organic and specialty food items produced in Chhattisgarh will also be displayed to connect local farmers and producers with larger national and international markets.

The Chhattisgarh State Minor Forest Produce Federation will display a wide range of forest-based products made by local self-help groups, showcasing how traditional resources are being transformed into sustainable livelihood opportunities. The government is also working to link these forest-based products with FMCG companies to expand their reach to domestic and global consumers.

Tourism will form another key attraction of the Chhattisgarh Pavilion. Visitors will be introduced to the state’s diverse tourism destinations, including its natural landscapes, eco-tourism circuits, historical sites, and cultural experiences. Detailed information about tourism infrastructure and investment opportunities will be shared to encourage more private participation in the sector.

With its dynamic combination of industry, culture, and sustainability, Chhattisgarh’s participation in IITF 2025 will underline the state’s emergence as a rising hub for trade, tourism, and inclusive growth. The pavilion will not only highlight Chhattisgarh’s industrial potential but also present the state’s vision of balanced development, blending economic progress with cultural pride and environmental consciousness.
