TFP Bureau, Raipur, February 22,2026:
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Sunday joined public representatives and dignitaries at his residence office in the state capital to listen to the 131st episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s monthly radio address, describing the programme as a powerful platform that inspires positive thinking, innovation and active participation in nation-building.
Union Minister of State Tokhan Sahu, state ministers Shyam Bihari Jaiswal and Rajesh Agrawal, MLA Prabodh Minj, along with senior officials and public representatives, were present during the listening session.
Speaking afterward, the Chief Minister said the programme has evolved into more than a broadcast, becoming a national dialogue that highlights inspiring stories and constructive initiatives from every corner of the country. According to him, each episode brings forward examples of dedication, creativity and service that motivate citizens to contribute meaningfully to society.
Referring to the Prime Minister’s remarks on India’s expanding capabilities in artificial intelligence, Shri Sai said the country is entering a new technological era marked by innovation and self-reliance. He noted that India’s technological strength recently received global recognition at an international AI summit in New Delhi and cited the launch of three “Made in India” AI models as evidence of the nation’s growing innovation potential. He added that Chhattisgarh is also advancing toward technological leadership through a strong startup ecosystem, digital infrastructure and innovation-driven governance.
The Chief Minister also highlighted the Prime Minister’s references to India’s agricultural achievements, noting that the country cultivates more than 500 varieties of rice and has emerged as the world’s largest producer. He said this success reflects the tireless efforts of farmers, the research of agricultural scientists and forward-looking government policies, strengthening the vision of a self-reliant India.
Shri Sai further pointed to examples cited in the address demonstrating the integration of tradition and technology, including the use of artificial intelligence in dairy and livestock management by Amul and initiatives to preserve and translate ancient medical texts such as the Sushruta Samhita. He said such efforts illustrate how modern science and India’s knowledge heritage can complement each other for national progress.
The Chief Minister also praised the humanitarian example mentioned in the broadcast concerning organ donation by the parents of 10-month-old Alin Sherin Abraham from Kerala, calling it a deeply inspiring act that could save many lives and raise awareness about organ donation.
He said the Prime Minister’s caution regarding cybercrimes, including digital fraud and so-called “digital arrest” scams, was particularly relevant in today’s technology-driven age, urging citizens to remain vigilant about online security, KYC procedures and banking safeguards.
The broadcast also highlighted achievements of Indian-origin players in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, the installation of a statue of C. Rajagopalachari during a cultural event at Rashtrapati Bhavan, motivational messages for students preparing for examinations, and festive greetings on the occasions of Ramzan and Holi, along with a call to promote local products.
Concluding, Shri Sai said every episode of the Prime Minister’s address reflects India’s progress toward technological empowerment, social awareness and inclusive development. He added that the programme not only informs citizens but also recognises grassroots initiatives, inspiring people across the country to actively participate in national development.
