Officials explore replicating employment-focused publication to benefit youth preparing for competitive exams
TFP Bureau, Raipur, March 19,2026: A delegation from the Department of Information and Public Relations visited Chhattisgarh Samvad to study the widely circulated weekly magazine “Rojgar aur Niyojan” (Employment and Placement), which has emerged as a key source of employment-related information for young aspirants.
During the visit, the team conducted a detailed review of the magazine’s structure, content and outreach strategy. The publication is known for compiling information related to government job vacancies, competitive examinations, career guidance and welfare schemes in a simplified and accessible format, making it particularly useful for students preparing for various examinations.
Assistant Editor Geetanjali Netam provided a comprehensive presentation on the editorial process, content curation and the overall utility of the weekly magazine. She explained how the initiative helps bridge the information gap by bringing scattered employment-related updates onto a single platform for easy reference.
The Jharkhand delegation, comprising Deputy Director Anand Kumar, departmental representative Sunita Dhan and Legal Advisor Aman Kumar, expressed appreciation for the initiative and its impact on youth empowerment.
Officials from the visiting team indicated that the Jharkhand government is considering launching a similar publication on the lines of “Rojgar aur Niyojan” to provide structured and reliable employment-related information to its youth. As part of this effort, they collected copies of the magazine, which they intend to present to Chief Minister Hemant Soren for further consideration.
The team noted that such a publication could significantly benefit aspirants preparing for competitive examinations such as UPSC, state public service commissions, SSC and banking, by offering a consolidated source of guidance and updates.
They expressed optimism that, if implemented, the initiative would help thousands of young people in Jharkhand gain timely and accurate information, thereby strengthening their prospects for employment and career growth.
Officials and staff associated with “Rojgar aur Niyojan” were also present during the interaction, sharing insights into the publication’s functioning and its growing reach among students and job seekers.
