State government orders immediate temporary postings across districts; officials directed to assume charge within 10 days
Raipur, April 30: The Chhattisgarh government on Wednesday ordered the transfer and temporary posting of 20 officers of the Transport Department with immediate effect as part of an administrative reshuffle.
According to an order issued by the Transport Department from Mahanadi Bhawan, Nava Raipur Atal Nagar, the officers have been shifted to new postings across various districts and at the department’s headquarters.
Among the key changes, Regional Transport Officer (RTO) Vivek Sinha, currently serving as District Transport Officer (DTO) for Korba–Pendra, has been transferred and posted as DTO Janjgir–Champa.
Abdul Mujahid, who was serving as DTO Dhamtari, has been posted to the Transport Headquarters in Nava Raipur, while Mohan Sahu, earlier posted in Kabirdham, has been transferred as DTO Balodabazar.
Similarly, Gaurav Sahu has been shifted from Janjgir–Champa to Raigarh, while Anil Bhagat, who was serving in Koriya, has been posted as Additional Regional Transport Officer in Rajnandgaon.
Other notable postings include Prakash Rawte from Balod to Kanker, Atul Asaiya from Kondagaon to Korba, Yogesh Bhandari from Surajpur to Balod, and Kishanlal Mahaur from Bijapur to Bemetara.
The order also transfers Shivbhagat Rawte from Sukma to Dhamtari, Anand Sharma to Mungeli, and Amit Prakash Kashyap from Raigarh to Koriya.
Additional changes include the transfer of Ramkumar Dhruv from Mahasamund to Kondagaon, Rishabh Naidu from Kanker to Transport Headquarters in Nava Raipur, and Gaurav Patle from Dantewada to Kawardha.
Similarly, Chunnullal Devangan, a technical officer earlier posted in Balodabazar, has been transferred to the Transport Headquarters, while Ravindra Thakur has been shifted from Gariaband to Dantewada.
Arvind Bhagat has been moved from Bemetara to Jashpur, Yogeshwari Verma from the Transport Headquarters to Gariaband, and Vijay Nikunj from Jashpur to Surajpur.
The department has directed all transferred officers to assume charge at their new postings within 10 days, failing which disciplinary action may be initiated.
The order was issued by Joint Secretary Kamlesh Bansod of the Transport Department.
