TFP Bureau, Raipur, April 3, 2025: The Chhattisgarh Government’s Transport Department is continuously working to make services more accessible to the public. Through the Transport Service Portal, Parivahan.gov.in, citizens can now access various services without the need for intermediaries. Applicants can apply for these services directly from their homes.
Transport Department Secretary Shri S. Prakash stated that by visiting the official Transport Service Portal, applicants can select the desired service and authenticate their identity using Aadhaar. Once authenticated, users can access 23 vehicle-related services and 19 driver’s license-related services.
Vehicle-Related Services
The portal offers a wide range of vehicle services, including:

Application for temporary registration of motor vehicles

Request for duplicate Registration Certificate (RC)

Transfer of ownership of a motor vehicle

Renewal and issuance of permits
-
Application for No Objection Certificate (NOC)
-
Issue of duplicate fitness certificates, among others
Driver’s License Services
The portal also includes several services for drivers, such as:

Issuance of duplicate learner’s and driving licenses

Renewal of driving licenses without a test
-
Change of address and biometrics on the driving license

Provisioning of international driving permits

Issuance and renewal of conductor licenses
To access these services, applicants can visit the Transport Portal, navigate to the Online Services menu, and select the relevant service, either related to vehicles or driving licenses. By selecting the appropriate option, users can easily complete their applications from the comfort of their homes.
Since the launch of the portal, 1,724 applications for Vahan 4.0 services and 34,225 driving license applications through Sarathi 4.0 have been processed within the past year. The Transport Department continues to enhance its services to provide greater convenience to citizens.
