Prize distribution ceremony for winners of the special ‘Awas Mela-2025’ lucky draw to be held on June 25 in Naya Raipur Atal Nagar.
TFP Bureau, Raipur, June 22, 2026: The Chhattisgarh Housing and Infrastructure Development Board on Monday conducted the special lucky draw for its ‘Awas Mela-2025’, announcing winners of a range of prizes, including a Maruti Swift car, motorcycles, scooters, refrigerators, washing machines, and LED televisions.
The draw was held at the Board’s headquarters in Sector-19, Nava Raipur Atal Nagar for beneficiaries who had registered and secured allotments under various residential and commercial schemes by December 31, 2025. The event witnessed the presence of a large number of beneficiaries, officials, and members of the media.
The lottery was conducted in the presence of Board Chairman Anurag Singh Deo and Commissioner Avnish Sharan, with officials stating that the entire selection process was carried out in a transparent and fair manner.
Pooja Bareth from Sarangarh-Bilaigarh district won the bumper prize, a Maruti Swift car, after booking LIG Building No. 32 under the Atal Vihar Scheme in Dansara. Ravi Prakash Rathore of Korba secured the Honda Shine motorcycle for his purchase of a commercial-cum-residential unit in Gokul Nagar, Kharmora.
Another Korba beneficiary, Krishna Kumar, who booked MIG Flat No. F-302 in Gokul Nagar, won the Honda Activa scooter. Refrigerators were awarded to Sushma Gupta and Arun Kumar Pradhan, while Om Soni and Renuka Ghritlahre won washing machines. LED televisions went to Gajendra Kumar Yadav and Sanjit Kumar Sahu.
Officials noted that the state-level Awas Mela-2025 also featured daily coupon-based lucky draws during the event, with participants winning prizes such as LED televisions, refrigerators, washing machines, mixer-grinders, and steam irons.
The winners of the special lucky draw will be felicitated at a prize distribution ceremony scheduled for June 25, 2026, at the Circuit House in Naya Raipur Atal Nagar.
Congratulating the winners, Board Chairman Anurag Singh Deo said the Housing and Infrastructure Development Board remains committed to providing quality housing and beneficiary-oriented schemes across the state. Commissioner Avnish Sharan thanked participants for their continued trust in the Board’s initiatives and encouraged citizens to actively participate in its future programmes.
