Governor and CM Pay Tribute to Terror Attack Victim Dinesh Mirania in Raipur

TFP Bureau, Raipur, April 24, 2025: In a solemn display of unity and grief, Chhattisgarh Governor Shri Ramen Deka and Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai paid heartfelt tributes to Shri Dinesh Mirania, a Raipur-based businessman who was tragically killed in a recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir.

Governor Deka visited Shri Mirania’s residence early this morning to offer floral tributes and extend condolences to the grieving family. He prayed for the departed soul and spent time consoling family members, expressing his sorrow over the irreparable loss.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai also attended the final rites, personally shouldering the mortal remains of the late Mirania in a gesture of deep respect. While paying tribute, the Chief Minister said, “The state has lost its son to the cowardly act of terrorism. This is a moment of collective grief for the people of Chhattisgarh.”

Shri Sai met with the family and assured them of all possible government assistance. He also announced plans to memorialize Shri Mirania, suggesting that a road or public square be named in his honour to preserve his memory.

“The terrorists aimed to destabilize peace by targeting innocent lives. The entire nation stands united against this inhuman act, and Pakistan will have to face consequences for sponsoring such violence,” Sai said, referencing the broader context of the attack. He also reiterated the positive impact of the abrogation of Article 370, highlighting its role in boosting peace and tourism in the region.

Joining the Chief Minister in his tribute were Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma, Finance Minister Shri OP Choudhary, Union Minister of State Shri Tokhan Sahu, MLAs Kiran Dev and Rajesh Munat, Civil Supplies Corporation Chairman Shri Sanjay Srivastava, and a large gathering of citizens who came together in a show of solidarity and mourning.
