Visits Satyanarayan Baba Dham, Kailashpati Dham and Aghor Guru Peeth; Prays for Peace, Prosperity and Well-being of the People of Chhattisgarh
TFP Bureau, Raipur, July 29, 2026: On the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai visited three prominent spiritual centres in Raigarh district, offering prayers for the happiness, prosperity, peace and well-being of the people of Chhattisgarh. During his visit, the Chief Minister paid obeisance at Shri Shri 108 Shri Satyanarayan Baba Dham in Kosamnara, performed Jalabhishek at Kailashpati Dham Mankameshwar Shiva Temple in Pandripani, and sought blessings at the Aghor Guru Peeth in Banora.
Beginning his spiritual tour at Shri Satyanarayan Baba Dham in Kosamnara, Shri Sai offered prayers to Lord Shiva and wished for the state’s continued progress and the welfare of its people. Extending Guru Purnima greetings, he described the festival as a sacred occasion to express gratitude towards teachers and spiritual guides, saying that the blessings of gurus provide the right direction in life while instilling strength and positive values.
The Chief Minister said that Satyanarayan Baba Dham has emerged as a major centre of faith where devotees experience peace, spiritual energy and inner strength. He added that it was a privilege to offer prayers at the shrine on the auspicious day of Guru Purnima.
Later, Shri Sai visited the Kailashpati Dham Mankameshwar Shiva Temple in Pandripani, where he performed Jalabhishek on the Shivling and offered traditional prayers to Lord Mankameshwar Mahadev. He prayed for peace, prosperity and the continued development of Chhattisgarh.
Continuing his tour, the Chief Minister visited the Aghor Guru Peeth at Banora, where he paid homage before the statue of Aghoreshwar Avadhoot Bhagwan Ram Ji and sought the blessings of Pujya Baba Priyadarshi Ram Ji. He prayed for the happiness and prosperity of the people and emphasized the importance of gurus in shaping knowledge, values and spiritual consciousness.
Addressing devotees, Shri Sai said Guru Purnima is an occasion to express reverence and gratitude to one’s guru, whose guidance helps build a strong and enlightened society. He reaffirmed that the state government remains committed to public welfare and ensuring that the benefits of development schemes reach every section of society.
Finance Minister Shri O.P. Choudhary accompanied the Chief Minister during the visits. Raigarh Municipal Corporation Mayor Shri Jeevardhan Chauhan, administrative officials, public representatives and a large number of devotees were also present on the occasion.
