Prime Minister wishes for stronger bonds of affection and harmony, happiness and prosperity for all
TFP Bureau, New Delhi, August 28, 2026: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday shared glimpses of the Raksha Bandhan celebrations held at his official residence at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg, describing the occasion as a celebration of affection, harmony and togetherness.
Sharing photographs and moments from the celebration on X, Modi extended his greetings on Raksha Bandhan and expressed the hope that the festival would further strengthen bonds of affection and harmony among people.
“May this festival deepen the bonds of affection and harmony. May it bring happiness and prosperity to everyone,” the Prime Minister said in his post.
He also shared moments from the celebrations featuring smiles, high-fives and interactions with participants at the Prime Minister’s residence.
The celebrations at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg marked the festival’s traditional spirit of strengthening relationships and spreading goodwill, with the Prime Minister wishing happiness, prosperity and joy for people across the country.
