Month-long campaign to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25 years of public service; innovative programmes to connect families, children, women and beneficiaries with the vision of Viksit Bharat-2047
TFP Bureau, Raipur, September 10, 2026: A month-long ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ will be organised in Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi (GPM) district from September 17 to October 17 to commemorate Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25 years of public service and dedication and to strengthen public participation in the vision of Viksit Bharat-2047.
The campaign will seek to take information about Central and state government welfare schemes to the grassroots, connect eligible beneficiaries with the schemes and encourage every family to actively participate in the development process. A series of innovative programmes, including ‘Aashirwad ka Diya’, ‘25 Crore Children’s Dream India’, ‘Namo Seva Gatha’, ‘Aangan Ka Utsav’ and ‘Kahani Badlav Ki’, will be organised during the campaign.
While reviewing preparations, GPM Collector Vijay Dayaram K. directed officials to ensure close coordination among departments, prepare a clear and time-bound action plan and ensure effective implementation at the field level. District Panchayat CEO Mukesh Rawte has been appointed District Nodal Officer for the campaign.
‘Aashirwad ka Diya’ to launch campaign
The campaign will begin on September 17 with ‘Aashirwad ka Diya’. Families across the district will be encouraged to light lamps in the evening as a symbol of gratitude for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25 years of public service and their collective commitment to the Viksit Bharat-2047 vision.
Field-level staff will visit households to inform residents about the programme and encourage their participation. The initiative aims to transform the development vision from a government programme into a shared commitment of citizens and families.
Children to share their vision of a developed India
Under the ‘25 Crore Children’s Dream India’ initiative, drawing and speech competitions will be organised in government and private schools from September 17 to October 7.
Students will be encouraged to express their vision of a developed India through their creativity and ideas while reflecting on the 25 years of public service by Prime Minister Modi. Outstanding participants will be honoured, while selected artworks and ideas will be displayed through an exhibition.
Street plays to spread awareness of welfare schemes
The ‘Namo Seva Gatha’ initiative will use street plays to take information about government welfare schemes to the grassroots. Performances will be organised at different locations from September 17 onwards.
Through these performances, citizens will be informed about the objectives of welfare schemes, eligibility criteria and the changes brought about in the lives of beneficiaries. The initiative will encourage eligible citizens to avail themselves of government schemes.
‘Aangan Ka Utsav’ to focus on nutrition and women, child welfare
‘Aangan Ka Utsav’ will be organised at Anganwadi centres from September 25 to October 7. Beneficiaries will be provided information on nutrition, maternal support, immunisation and various women and child welfare schemes.
The programmes will also highlight the contribution of Anganwadi workers in improving health, nutrition and awareness among women and children.
‘Kahani Badlav Ki’ to showcase transformation stories
The ‘Kahani Badlav Ki’ initiative will document real-life stories of beneficiaries who have benefited from government schemes. These stories will highlight the positive changes brought about in the lives of ordinary citizens and showcase the impact of welfare programmes at the grassroots level.
The success stories are expected to motivate other eligible citizens to access government schemes and move towards greater self-reliance.
Public participation at the heart of campaign
The Seva Sankalp Abhiyan is intended to go beyond the dissemination of information about government schemes. It will seek to build a broader spirit of service, participation and collective responsibility among citizens.
Children, women, youth, farmers, beneficiaries and families will participate in activities throughout the month. Through these initiatives, GPM district aims to turn the campaign into a platform connecting the celebration of 25 years of public service with a collective commitment towards building a Viksit Bharat by 2047.
