Dashboard to track district-wise coverage and ensure benefits reach every eligible rural household
TFP Bureau, Raipur, September 16, 2026: The implementation of the Chhattisgarh government’s ‘Sughghar Chhattisgarh’ campaign was reviewed at a high-level meeting chaired by the Chief Secretary on Wednesday, with emphasis on ensuring that welfare schemes reach every eligible beneficiary in rural areas.
The Chief Secretary reviewed the progress recorded on the campaign’s state-level dashboard and directed officials to accelerate the process of extending benefits to eligible families.
The ‘Sughghar Chhattisgarh’ initiative is aimed at ensuring that the benefits of State and Central government welfare schemes reach the last eligible person in rural areas. A dedicated dashboard has been developed to monitor the status of beneficiaries identified through surveys and track the implementation of various schemes.
The Chief Secretary directed officials to ensure that the dashboard provides clear, district-wise information on the coverage, or saturation, of individual schemes. Such data, he said, would help improve transparency and enable faster identification of gaps in implementation.
Key schemes reviewed
The meeting reviewed the coverage of several beneficiary-oriented schemes, including the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Yojana, Soil Health Cards, ration cards and free ration distribution, job cards, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Gramin), Mahtari Vandan Yojana, skill development programmes and Pradhan Mantri Jan-Dhan Yojana.
Officials also presented updates on the saturation campaign based on the minutes of a meeting of the Union Ministry of Home Affairs, granular beneficiary data and the status of scheme coverage in Bastar division.
The meeting also reviewed the implementation of ‘Niyad Nellanar-2.0’ and beneficiary lists generated from ration card data available on the ‘Sughghar Chhattisgarh’ portal.
Senior officials from the Panchayat and Rural Development Department and other departments concerned attended the meeting, including Additional Chief Secretary Richa Sharma, Information Technology Secretary Ankit Anand and Joint Secretary of the Good Governance and Convergence and Information Technology departments Mayank Agarwal.
