Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai to lead state delegation from October 3-6; focus on MSMEs, startups, skills, wildlife conservation and green development
TFP Bureau, Raipur, September 28,2026: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai will lead a high-level state delegation to Singapore from October 3 to 6 to participate in the inaugural Singapore-India Network for Growth (SING) Forum 2026, following the state’s nomination by the Ministry of External Affairs.
Organised by the Singapore Business Federation, the SING Forum will bring together senior government representatives, industry leaders and investors from Singapore and India. The forum is aimed at strengthening economic ties between the two countries and creating opportunities for trade and investment.
State to highlight investment opportunities
At the forum, Mr. Sai is expected to present Chhattisgarh’s investment potential, particularly in the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME), startup and employment-generating sectors. The state delegation will also seek to explore avenues for long-term economic cooperation with Singapore-based businesses, entrepreneurs and investors.
The visit is intended to provide a platform for the state to showcase its growth prospects and establish business and institutional partnerships with international stakeholders.
Discussions on skills and green development
During the Singapore visit, the delegation will hold meetings with representatives of the Skill Centre, Mandai Wildlife Reserve and Gardens by the Bay.
The discussions will cover potential cooperation in skill development and opportunities to learn from Singapore’s experience in wildlife conservation, horticulture and green development.
Mr. Sai said the visit would provide an opportunity to connect Chhattisgarh with global partners and explore avenues for development and employment through international expertise, investment and innovation.
Senior officials to accompany Chief Minister
The delegation will include Chief Secretary Vikas Sheel, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Subodh Singh, Commerce and Industries Secretary Rajat Kumar, CSIDC Managing Director Vishvesh Kumar and Officer on Special Duty to the Chief Minister Umesh Agarwal.
