Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai congratulated Neeru Dhanda on winning the gold medal with an Asian record in the women’s individual trap event. He said that her historic achievement is a matter of pride for the entire nation. Through her talent, hard work and determination, Neeru Dhanda has brought glory to India on the international sporting stage.
The Chief Minister also extended heartfelt congratulations to Kiran Pahal, Poovamma Machettira, Prachi and Vithya Ramraj, members of the Indian team that won the gold medal in the women’s 4×400 metres relay event at the Asian Games. He said that with their excellent coordination, speed and sporting skills, India’s daughters have won the gold medal and brought glory to the Tricolour.
