Dismissed B.Ed. Assistant Teachers End 126-Day Agitation After Meeting CM Sai

TFP Bureau, Raipur, April 18, 2025: A long-standing protest by dismissed B.Ed.-trained assistant teachers came to a close today after a cordial meeting with Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai at his residence office. The delegation, which had been agitating for 126 days, announced the end of their movement following an assurance from the state government to sympathetically consider their concerns.

During the interaction, Chief Minister Sai expressed empathy and solidarity with the teachers. “You are a part of our family, and your pain is ours. The government is seriously and sensitively examining the issue to find a constructive resolution,” he said.

Moved by the Chief Minister’s assurance and the government’s responsive stance, the teachers expressed renewed confidence in the administration and agreed to end their protest.

Senior officials including Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Subodh Singh, and Secretaries P. Dayanand, Rahul Bhagat, and Dr. Basavaraju S. were also present during the meeting.
