TFP Bureau, Korba, April 24, 2025: The Raipur chapter of the Public Relations Society of India (PRSI) celebrated National Public Relations Day with a grand ceremony, recognizing several prominent figures for their excellence in the field of public communication and media.
At the event, Shri Vijay Vajpayee, Public Relations Officer at Bharat Aluminium Company Limited (BALCO), was honoured with the prestigious Ramshankar Agnihotri Memorial Public Relations Award for his exceptional service in the PR domain.
Addressing the gathering as the chief guest, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai extended his best wishes on the occasion and praised the awardees, expressing hope for their continued success in the field.
Presiding over the function, BALCO’s PR Head Ms. Suchi Mishra emphasized the importance of truth and objectivity in public communication. “In today’s digital age, PR professionals must leverage modern technology while staying rooted in factual and transparent reporting,” she said. “Mastery of current trends and a commitment to truth are essential for effective public relations.”
PRSI Raipur Chairman Dr. Shahid Ali, in his welcome address, highlighted the society’s initiatives in Chhattisgarh and provided details about the award recipients. Also present at the ceremony were PRSI Raipur Secretary Dr. Kumar Singh Toppa, Treasurer Dr. Daneshwari Sambhakar, Adani Group Vice President Dr. Prateek Pandey, Deputy Director of Public Relations Shri Naseem Ahmed Khan, Shri Saurabh Sharma, editor Dr. Kirti Sisodia, senior journalist Shri Mukesh S. Singh, PR Officer Shri Satyesh Bhatt, and other notable personalities from the fields of public relations, journalism, and literature.
