TFP Bureau, Raipur, April 25, 2025: Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai on Thursday inaugurated Zora Mall, the newest and largest lifestyle destination in Chhattisgarh’s capital, Raipur. The inauguration ceremony was marked by traditional rituals and prayers, with the Chief Minister offering prayers to Lord Ganesha for prosperity and success.
The Chief Minister also inaugurated a fully equipped multiplex cinema within the mall and viewed a video highlighting the state government’s achievements in good governance.
Calling it a significant moment for the city, CM Sai said, “Today is a special day for the residents of Raipur. Zora Mall is not just a shopping destination—it brings together essential goods, entertainment, and modern lifestyle services under one roof. It will also create job opportunities for local youth and give a new momentum to the region’s economic activities.”
He further noted that the project had been a long time in the making, with work beginning nearly 12 years ago under the name Treasure Island. “After years of dedicated effort, it has now been completed in its true form. I congratulate everyone involved in bringing this project to life,” he added.
A New Era for Urban Lifestyle in Raipur
Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, who also addressed the gathering, said, “Zora Mall is now the largest shopping mall in Chhattisgarh. Started more than a decade ago, this project has been revived and given a new identity. It will soon become the premier hub for shopping and entertainment in Raipur and across the state.”
He praised the development of Raipur as a fast-growing and modern capital, stating that such infrastructure projects help strengthen its standing among India’s leading cities.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Saw extended his best wishes during the ceremony, highlighting the economic and employment benefits of the project.
A Star-Studded Inauguration
The grand opening was attended by several dignitaries, including Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap, Revenue Minister Tankaram Verma, MLAs Amar Agarwal, Anuj Sharma, and Motilal Sahu. Also present were CSIDC Chairman Rajiv Agarwal, CMDC Chairman Saurabh Singh, RDA Chairman Nandkumar Sahu, BCCI Treasurer Prabhtej Singh Bhatia, and Mall Director Vijay Jhawar.
Zora Mall is expected to become a major commercial and social hub in the region, offering Raipur residents and visitors a premium shopping, dining, and entertainment experience.
