TFP Bureau, Raipur, May 5,2025: Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai visited Akanksha Vidyalaya in Janjgir-Champa district on Sunday, where he interacted with students preparing for competitive exams such as JEE, NEET, and PSC. During his visit, the Chief Minister encouraged students to aim high and make the most of the academic resources available to them, emphasizing that “education is not merely a route to employment, but a medium to lead a successful life.”
The Chief Minister praised the efforts of Akanksha Vidyalaya in offering free coaching to meritorious students from socially and economically weaker sections. He appreciated the quality of education and facilities at the school and assured the students that the state government remains committed to enhancing educational opportunities for all.

While speaking to the students, CM Sai said that under the ongoing “Sushasan Tihar” campaign, he is closely monitoring the ground-level implementation of government schemes. He congratulated the selected students of Akanksha Residential School and urged them to dream big and work with determination. He noted that Chhattisgarh is making steady progress in the education sector, with the presence of institutions in fields like engineering and medicine.
Highlighting the government’s recent initiatives, Shri Sai mentioned the expansion of hostel accommodations in Delhi for UPSC aspirants and the upcoming Nalanda campuses to be developed in every district, aimed at creating a conducive learning environment for competitive exams.
The Chief Minister also shared a meal with students at the residential school, deepening the connection with the young aspirants. He remarked that such ground-level interactions through good governance initiatives will provide a new momentum to Chhattisgarh’s development journey.
Launched in 2018, the Akanksha Programme has become a beacon of hope for underprivileged students, offering free coaching, books, notes, and study materials for entrance exams such as JEE, NEET, PSC, Railway, and SSC. So far, over 90 students from the school have successfully qualified for JEE and NEET, making Akanksha Vidyalaya a model for inclusive education in the state.
